After a busy few weeks (i was in Sydney all last week with work) it was great to have a couple of days relaxing up north in the bay of islands courtesy of some asb rewards points we had built up on our credit card. Lots of sleeping and lounging around, could have done with a week of it. unbelievable weather for middle of winter as well. I tell you, that spa pool was awesome;)

I just had to blog about a really great website i just found for building family trees called www.geni.com. It really is one of the most easy to use websites i've ever seen, have a try. It also doubles as a handy birthday reminder tool and you can store family photos etc.

We recently got some photos done both at the Karekare waterfall where we had the naming ceremony and also at the Karekare beach itself a few minutes away. Enjoy!

Annabel has asked me to point out that she had just come back from a run when this video was taken and hence looking (unusually i might add) "rather daggy" (to use her own words).

Ooooh, i like driving far more than i thought i would. I rose at 8am on Satuday morning and drove Tommy to the beach at Piha were he had oranges and bananas. It was a strangely warm lovely day (you gotta love that global warming) and unlike a couple of years ago we arrived and i think it was the coldest winter in NZ for 50 years!

Tommy does a good impresonation of an andrex puppy.
