A most enjoyable day of wild purchases on interest free credit deals is complete. We now have a bed, matress, two bedside tables, a chest of drawers, a fridge/freezer, washing machine and a microwave to go with our new hoover.

We really need a dishwasher as well, but we're going to re-do the kitchen first to avoid having to replumb the thing. We also drove round to the house and said hello to one of our new neighbours. Feels a bit scary as we're so used to flatting, but we're really excited about finally having our own place.

Settlement is on Friday and we start moving in on Saturday. It's labour day weekend here which means Ialso have a day off on Monday to sort the house out, although Annabel is working.
