pre baby shopping

For some reason i can't connect to my work computer from home this weekend, which is really a blessing in disguise as it means i can't work. We went out yesterday again to try and shake the baby out, shopping for some consumer durables.

First stop was baby factory to pick up our new pram/buggy, which is the NZ made mountain buggy urban elite with suncover, storm sheet cover, nappy bag and suspension!

Then off to Noel Leeming superstore to search for a dryer in Newmarket. Beware shoppers the staff in here are retards. However, we did manage to find an advertised deal for an older model which was mistakenly on a newer model of a dryer. This saved us quite a bit of money, even though the salesperson seemed very pissed off about it all, saying it was a 'total cock up'. He pleaded that we take out the 5 year warranty to help him with his margins (which i couldn't believe) but we refused. Delivery on wednesday, hopefully he hasn't taken a hammer to it.

Finally, we went to Target furniture to get our cube style bookshelf (Five by Three) shown below. And so our credit card is now well and truly hammered, and with Annabel going back to the UK, it's rice and pasta until christmas...;) Will be posting up pictures of the redecorated living room later on, once we've tidied up.
