second night in new house

am writing this on annabel's powerbook, in our second night in the new house. The move went really well, carin and jim (17 years in the navy, what a packer!) and udi (marathon man) doing some sterling work to get us shifted in double quick time

Annabel's mum and dad came up in a big van filled with goodies like a sofa, cutlery and other bits and pieces.

It still feels like we're staying in a hotel, and also like a real new stage in my life, kind of reminiscent of my first year at university, like you know everything's changing

Friends got me some gardening tools for my 30th in London. They were unpacked today, and i'm actually going to plant some parsnips, ooo arr.

It is a new beginning Captain. But isn't it every day, in a small way..?

Love to all of you!
From all of us.
