The following is a summary of my ideal working environment, as suggested by a personality test i took recently.
"The surroundings I need are quiet so I will be uninterrupted, have minimal supervision, allow me to set my own work conditions, and are conducive to theoretical projects.
What motivates me are opportunities in which I can increase my knowledge and information, construct paradigms to explain things, have a clear idea of what is expected of me, and be certain of my responsibilities.
What i enjoy are clear and logical thinking, acknowledgement for my insights, reasoned conclusions, observation of people and situations, theoretical speculation, intelligent discussions, solid and coherent theories, analysis of problems to arrive at a solution, and time by myself for my intellectual pursuits. I like to have a vision of an organisation's direction and purpose.
What I dislike are confused thinking, emotional reactions, undisciplined research procedures, irrational talk, discussion of superficial issues, and unclear responsibilities and expectations."
If you have met me or worked with me i'll let you be the judge of whether some or all of the above apply!
